FC Advances to Got Milk 3v3
Soccer Regionals
SUMMERLIN – Two U11 local first
seeds, Henderson’s Heat FC and Vegas Boyz, advanced
to a final showdown for a regional berth in the Got Milk
3v3 Soccer Tournament held at Spotted Leaf Park.
Vegas Boyz advanced to the final with
a Sunday morning win over Manchester United while Heat
FC knocked off Celtic in the semi-finals.
The final game between the two top teams
was a true fight to the finish.
“Vegas Boyz were really aggressive,” said
Heat FC’s Zach White. “We
knew we were going to have a good game.”
Heat FC had to fight off the Vegas Boyz
attack, and despite calls of overly aggressive play on
both sides; it was Heat FC with a 5-2 victory and a berth
to the regionals in Colorado.
“We’re excited to be representing
Las Vegas in the regionals,” said Chase Leaders. “We
passed the ball hard and made the shots we had to make.”
“It feels great to win,” White said. “We
knew it was going to be a real fight.”
